About Piper
Piper Blackledge is a current student and aspiring professional within the world of community relations. During her time at Creighton University, she has pursued involvement with several student organizations that have provided lessons in event planning, crisis response, and campaign management.
Growing up, Piper starred in school plays, sang in the choir, and wanted to perform any chance she had. Through this, she developed a love for storytelling. During her summer abroad in Ireland, she was reminded of this love. Surrounded by living history and familial bonds, she found deep connection with not only others but herself. Memories were made, folktales were told, but most of all relationships were built. This is the beauty of a good story.
While she remains undecided on her post-graduate plans, she knows one thing, which is that she hopes to make a difference. Through her many passions, she wants to continue telling stories. Whether through nonprofit work, public relations, or even law school, the possibilities for impact are endless. Purely Piper is an effort to encompass her thoughts, reflections, and motivations as she works towards defining her life plans.
